I have been looking for these wonderful shooting gloves for many years since I first used them in the nineties. Delivered at a lightning pace too! Truly excellent.

The Millar Mitt — Standard Size: Small

Got these in small. My "G" measurement according to the video is just under an 8" and I thought the small being 7.5" would be a snug fit but actually feels half an inch too big with loose fabric. Unfortunately they don't have a mens 7" so I will be returning these.

Advice I would give buyers is these gloves aren't ideally styled/designed for smaller sizes as the material used (which is a thick stitched wool) just doesn't work well in that regard and feels "extra and bunchy". I have pretty small hands though, I do think they are a great glove if you would wear a large fitting glove and have longer fingers, probably order half an inch down in size if you like a tight/snug fit.

A fantastic glove if you can make the size work for you, recommend for bigger sizes /longer fingers. surprisingly large cut/fit for a fingerless glove. Feels robust/ hard wearing, and looks very good too.

I had a pair like these forty years ago and having been trying to find another for the last thirty. These are great, fit well, green back. They are tougher than wool and I will be wearing them incessantly. In really cold weather, pair of thin gloves fits well underneath. Thoroughly recommend.

These are a gift from the gods! My brother and I live in the Colorado mountains and have lived outdoor lives, climbing, skiing, snowshoeing, backpacking, cycling - basically everything that is wonderful. Each year as a running gift we would give these to one another. When they disappeared from the market we were crestfallen. Chester Jefferies replicates these to perfection. We are giddy. There are new generations of climbers and enthusiasts that will have these beautiful mitts improve their whole lives! Chester Jefferies sounded too good to be true. They are too good to describe. Have no reservations about this product. They will improve your life. Really, Truly. Joseph Tischer

They were bought as an Xmas present for my son in law who lives on a "smallholding" - an introduction to the "iconic" mitt!
So no feedback yet - but I've used them for years - and passed on - my daughter uses them with horses and my postman swears by them - the long cuff fit appears to be the point! and everyone loves a "Steptoe"!

Had a pair of these gloves since I was about 14, and have used them most years for beating. Turned 50 this year and the gloves have finally fallen apart. Didn't think I was going to be able to find another pair after all this time so was delighted to track down Chester Jefferies and get a replacement pair. Wore the new pair first time out last weekend - should see me out!

Been wearing these since 1970 and my last pair were almost worn out. I didn't think you could still get them so was very pleased when I found your website. I'm delighted with the new ones and am sure they will serve me as well as the old ones did.
Excellent product and service at an affordable price.

The Millar Mitt — Standard Size: Medium

I have had Miller Mitts for a VERY (30 years) long time and now have purchased another pair from you. They are great as my others were. For shooting they give a good feel and grip. For fishing they like wise give a responsive grip on the fly rod.
Many of my hunting fellows used to criticise that the cotton palms became wet BUT the secret is that once wet they perform in the same manner as a wet suit and become very warm and comfortable..I know, having fished many far Northern Highland rivers and lochs and shot in extreme weather in my locale. I would purchase another pair but my manager (wife) has indicated that as the gloves last for many years I do not require more.
    We will see!!

The Millar Mitt — Standard Size: X-Large

I had a pair of these years ago, they were given to me by a gamekeeper while I was learning outdoor skills, I have looked everywhere for another pair to use as warm, functional,Bushcraft gloves that will stand up to a bit of Ware, ( my original pair lasted about 7 years). These ate perfect, just how I remember them, well done super fast delivery and great item at a great price, thank-you

My son loves them. Hard-wearing, top quality, a real classic. My son is small and has a short but broad muscular hand and the larger size fits him very snuggly. I imagine they would be far too tight on a larger hand.
